CopyRocking

is more than just a review of your work and a handful of suggestions -

I’m here to elevate the writing you’ve done to pro-level copy effectiveness.

$300 / draft

 Welcome intrepid DIY writers!

You’re here because you’ve already done the heavy-lifting (maybe with the help of a handy template) to write your own draft of a website page. Good job!

You’ve sweated, labored and faced the abyss of self-doubt – nobody told you that was part of the writing process, but it is. Especially when we write our own websites.

But when we get so deep into the woods (and words) of our own souls, we can start to get blurry-eyed, head-achey, mind-melty… and we need a fresh perspective.

I’m here for you.

 Here’s how it works

Send me your draft as a Google Doc, and you will get:

  • Your draft back in 7 days from your scheduled date. It will be expertly tweaked, revised, rewritten and polished, in your voice, and informed by on-page SEO strategy. It will be ready to publish.

  • A detailed questionnaire you’ll fill out first so I have a very clear idea of your business and your ideal clients.

  • Further suggestions (via the “Comments” feature in Google Docs) on what to add or clarify that you can implement yourself, if necessary.

CopyRocking costs $300 for each draft, flat rate, paid via PayPal when you schedule the time.

What’s not included

  • This is not a call. This is just you sending me your draft as a Google Doc (no other formats, please), and me polishing it until it shines. If I have questions or suggestions, I will put them in your doc. If speaking with me would help you find additional I’d like to invite you to join me for a group Craft n’ Copy Hour (they’re really fun!).

  • Revisions are not included (that’s how I keep the price low!), and most people don’t need them. But if you would like a second round of polish, I offer a revision call for $130, and we’ll do the revisions together over Zoom in 1 hour. You can book that here.

Ready for me to work my
pro-copywriting magic on your copy?

Let’s Rock That Copy

What happens when you click the above link…

  • You will find a questionnaire to fill out. The questionnaire includes a field for the link to your Google Docs draft. Please make sure that link is set to “anyone with the link can edit.”

  •  Answer the questions in the questionnaire and be as detailed as possible. But also brief. I don’t need all the details, just the really important ones.

  • Once you complete the form, you’ll find an invoice in your inbox for $260.

  • Once paid, you’ll receive an email that asks you to choose a date for me to start your project.

  • *****If you cancel with 24+ hours notice, you’ll get a full refund. But cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours of the scheduled work time will only be refunded 50%. Same rules as making a hair appointment.

  • Within 7 days of that scheduled start time, you’ll find a CopyRocked draft in your inbox!

  • If I have any questions or need you to fill in more details, I’ll leave those in the “Comments” feature of the Google Doc for you to answer and fill out on your own. But, whenever possible, I’ll make changes and polish your copy for you. Then you can feel free to take what I do and tweak it to your heart’s content.

 FAQ’s about CopyRocking

How good does my draft have to be… (it’s pretty bad)

This service is intended for “shitty first drafts.” Don’t feel any pressure to get the words exactly right. If you’ve used a template and filled it out with the important information, I can turn it into a great client-converting page. Just don’t send me a 20+ page novella — there is such a thing as TMI.

Does this book a call? Are we gonna get together on Zoom at some point?

Nope - this is just me, working on your draft by my lonesome self, polishing it so it shines. What you book when you press the CopyRocking CTA button is my time to sit down and give your words my undivided attention. But, if you’re like “I wanna hang OUT!” then join me for my free Craft n’ Copy Hour (rsvp here).

What if I have questions on the changes or suggestions you’ve made in my document? Or if I make some of my own changes after your review – can I ask you to take a look?

Hey there! I won’t leave you hangin’. For any questions or tweaks to a CopyRocked draft I’ve done, I offer an additional hour-long Zoom call where we’ll answer questions and polish what you’ve got. It’s $130 and can be booked separately. We can do this as many times as you’d like.

This is for you if…

  • You’ve used one of my Truer Copy templates, or templates from Uncage Your Business, or templates from another coach or program to write a draft of website copy, but you’d love a pro to step in and make sure what you’ve written will actually get you clients.

  • No template? Then answer these questions so I have all the info I need to make sure your copy will work to get you clients.

  • Your eyes are crossing, you have a headache, and really just need this miserable part of the process to be over. I’ve been there, I get it. We’ll make this as easy as possible.

  • You’re not into icky salesy pushy smarmy tactics either (if you dread sounding like a used car salesperson, my style will be your jam).

This is NOT for you if…

  • You’ve written a draft on your own without a template or a coach or program to guide you and, to be honest, you haven’t really done the foundational work yet to define your niche and messaging. If you’re shaky on the fundamentals or need some clarity, “Make the Words Go Away” might be a better fit. I can help you with clarity, niching and messaging much better on a call.

  • You just can’t see yourself trusting a copywriter to get your voice without a call, and you know you’re going to want revisions. (I hear this objection sometimes, and it’s fair. Not many copywriters have spent 10 years ghostwriting like I have - I get voice really fast, really well. But, if you know you’re going to want revisions and call time, check out my full-service “Make the Words Go Away” page.)
